Downloading Music While Connected To Serato Dj Pioneer Ddj Sr
Hey Thom1111,
This is a very strange issue...so just to clarify you can install SERATO DJ 1.0 onto all 3 laptops and the DDJ-SX connects with no issues? But any other version above that will not let you connect?
Can I get you to try the following please, we need to reinstall the audio drivers for your DDJ-SX.
1. Connect the DDJ-SX.
2. Click the Windows Start button and go to -> Control Panel > Device Manager.
3. Expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers section.
4. The DDJ-SX will show here as a USB Composite Device.
5. Right click on this and select Properties.
6. Go to the Driver tab and click the 'Uninstall' button.
7. When the 'Confirm device uninstall' window pops up, click OK.
8. Disconnect & re-connect the DDJ-SX USB cable - You should now get the 'Installing device driver software' pop-up in their toolbar.
Go back to Device Manager and expand the Sound, Video and Game Controllers section. They should now see the following devices:
PIONEER DDJ-SX
9. Start SERATO DJ 1.1.1 and see if the hardware connects.
Let me know how you get on :)
Thanks.
